Data Analytics Manager (Fintech)

Salary: $165,000 - $175,000 CAD

• Own the technical roadmap, architectural design, and complex problem-solving alongside your team.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and the semantic layer, ensuring BI architecture supports long-term business growth.
• Identify root causes of recurring data issues and implement long-term systemic solutions & improvements.
• Lead architectural whiteboarding sessions and establish best practices for data modeling and overall quality.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across functions to create a clear vision and data strategy.
• Support team professional development and communicate team progress to senior leadership.
• Find and hire top talent for your team and the wider organization.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team of Data/Analytics Engineers building scalable Data & BI Platforms.
• Deep technical expertise in data modelling & warehousing architectures.
• Expert in SQL and have experience in Python/JavaScript or other programming languages.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.
• Inspirational leadership to hire, mentor and grow team members.
• Strong outcome-driven mindset.
• Must be located in Canada and able to work within EST/EDT hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in the FinTech domain.
• Experience in GCP.
• Experience in ML/MLOps or Data Science.
