Location: Redmond, United States. Employees are expected to work from a designated hirify.global office at least four days a week if they live within 50 miles (U.S.).

Salary: USD $188,000 – $304,200 per year (for IC5 level in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area).

What you will do

• Design and develop data pipelines for ingesting enormous amounts of multi-modal training data (text, audio, images, video).
• Own and maintain critical data infrastructures, including Spark, Ray, and vector databases.
• Build and maintain cutting-edge infrastructure for storing and processing petabytes of data.
• Partner with pretraining and post-training teams to improve data recipes through rigorous and careful experimentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field AND 6+ years of experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering work.
• OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field AND 4+ years of experience in business analytics, data science, software development, or data engineering work.
• Passion for the role of data in large-scale AI model training.
• High degree of expertise and close attention to details.
• Proactive attitude and enthusiasm for exploring new methods and technologies.
• English: B2 required.
