Salary: IC4: USD $158,400 – $258,000 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area) / IC5: USD $188,000 – $304,200 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area)

What you will do

• Build secure and performant APIs that power Copilot iOS and Android apps.
• Collaborate with iOS, Android engineers, Product Managers, platform engineers, data scientists, and marketing to drive user growth, engagement, and retention.
• Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
• Find paths to get things done despite roadblocks, ensuring quick and iterative delivery to users.
• Partner closely with data science teams to analyze user behavior and optimize product features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience OR Master’s Degree AND 6+ years / Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years technical engineering experience.
• Experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Must be local to the San Francisco area and in office 3 days a week.
• Expected to work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week if they live within 50 miles (U.S.).
