TL;DR
Senior Data Analyst (Fintech): Minimizing risk exposure and enhancing the profitability of the company’s product with an accent on conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies. Focus on preventing fraud and ensuring the integrity of operations through data-driven insights.
Location: Relocation is mandatory to Limassol, Cyprus with full relocation support provided.
Salary: €5,400/month net

What you will do
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Formulate hypotheses, conduct experiments, and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Continuously monitor key metrics, business performance, and market dynamics to uncover optimization opportunities.
- Develop solutions to protect the company from abusive behavior, increase profitability, and reduce risk.
- Build and maintain analytical tools, reports, and dashboards to support business units and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematical Science or a related field; higher education (advanced degree) is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data and risk analysis, quantitative research, and working with large datasets.
- Experience in anti-fraud functions within the financial sector is an advantage.
- Technical proficiency in Python, R, SQL, database management, statistics, mathematical modeling, and machine learning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, pragmatic decision-making, effective presentation and communication skills.
- Relocation is mandatory.
