What you will do

• Partner with researchers and engineers to translate open research questions into clear milestones and actionable plans.
• Steer goal setting processes and drive critical project dependencies with an awareness of downstream impacts.
• Build, maintain, and grow relationships with key stakeholders across the program, influencing positive outcomes.
• Ensure information flow across programs, keeping leads, team members, and partners updated.
• Own and drive critical internal processes, like weekly AI Studio KR reviews, ensuring strategic alignment.
• Build and mentor a team of TPMs, managing their growth and aligning efforts with strategic priorities.
• Accelerate the 3P developer feedback loop and oversee key workstreams like Auth, Billing, and technical strategy for Gemini API.

Requirements

• Technical degree or advanced working knowledge with industry experience in technical strategy.
• Extensive technical program management expertise with proven skill to navigate ambiguity and adapt plans.
• Ability to quickly learn new technical domains, understand challenges, and balance tradeoffs.
• Experience partnering with teams to drive large-scale program delivery from concept to completion in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, adapt to change, and provide flexible thought partnership.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering/research leadership to provide straightforward solutions to complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop meaningful relationships to influence action and outcomes.
• Passion for advancing AI and proven experience in building and leading technical teams in startup or high-growth environments.
• AI-native mindset with the ability to thrive in a culture of constant innovation.
