What you will do

• Continuously improve the platform's look, feel, and usability, rethinking navigation and redesigning workflows.
• Build and maintain a robust, reusable component library to ensure consistent UI.
• Implement features end-to-end from initial concept through to production across the full stack.
• Serve as the primary design voice within the engineering department, unblocking colleagues on UX questions.
• Collaborate closely with co-founders and the broader engineering team to explore creative product directions.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of deep technical mastery within the JavaScript ecosystem, specifically with React and TypeScript.
• A sharp eye for product design and intuitive UX, with the ability to identify and correct subtle interface issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Must be based in San Francisco and be able to work on-site.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with product design or design tools such as Figma.
• A proven track record of building or maintaining comprehensive design systems.
• The ability to contribute to the creative design process, not just the implementation of existing designs.
