What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers on development programs.
• Lead the bid and proposal process for new projects, including scope definition, schedule development, and cost estimation.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules, cost targets, and technical requirements.
• Drive corrective action and implement lessons learned for systems engineering processes.
• Lead engineering teams to develop creative solutions to difficult technical and programmatic challenges.
• Mentor early career project engineers and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 15+ years of experience or a Master’s with 12+ years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical project manager and leader for a cross-functional team.
• Strong knowledge of classical and modern control systems and actuation system architecture.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD environmental testing and external test partners.
• Proficiency with EVMS reporting and preparation of engineering reports.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
