Workplace Mental Health Consultant

TL;DR

Workplace Mental Health Consultant: Providing clinical consultation and individual therapy to employees at customer locations with an accent on enhancing workplace effectiveness and employee wellbeing. Focus on critical incident response, strategic planning, and managing member and organizational crises through in-the-moment support and safety planning.

Location: Hybrid, onsite at customer location in Cambridge, MA, 2 days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays 9am-5pm). Must have an unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in MA.

Salary: $16,000–$17,600 per month ($100-$110/hr)

What you will do

• Provide mental health consultation and support to managers, people teams, and employees onsite.
• Deliver individual therapy and connection to appropriate resources.
• Develop strong relationships with leaders and HR POCs, executing local action plans.
• Coordinate critical incident response and conduct company tailored trainings.
• Identify strategic workplace wellbeing insights and recommend targeted interventions.
• Assess risk, manage member and organizational crises, providing in-the-moment support and safety planning.

Requirements

• Unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in MA (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, etc.).
• Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 1 year as an independently licensed clinician.
• Training and experience in delivering critical incident response and training presentations.
• Comfortable with technology and telehealth competent.
• Training and experience in evidence-based modalities, including short-term, solution-focused therapy.
• Comfortable with providing safety planning and intervention during higher-risk client situations.
