Location: Hybrid role based in Utrecht (NL)

Salary: €4,931 – €8,451 gross per month (based on 36h/week)

What you will do

  • Perform hands-on security testing on web and mobile applications using a risk-based approach aligned with OWASP standards.
  • Collaborate within Agile security squads to continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and security tooling.
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable security advice for global stakeholders.
  • Execute qualitative security assessments across diverse platforms, infrastructures, and programming languages.
  • Proactively resolve security findings to increase the resilience of critical banking systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cyber security, specifically in security or penetration testing.
  • Proven experience with security code reviews and testing across technologies such as .NET, Java, React, Azure, AWS, Windows, or Linux.
  • Strong background in DAST or SAST tooling.
  • Analytical, communicative, and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work within the Netherlands as this is a hybrid role.

Nice to have

  • Relevant industry certifications such as OSCP, GXPN, or OSWE.
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices like OWASP and ASVS.
