What you will do

  • Lead the mobile engineering team by creating clarity, distributing authority, and mentoring engineers.
  • Balance hands-on development with strategic leadership and high-level architectural guidance.
  • Partner with product and design to shape mobile solutions and communicate technical tradeoffs to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate sustainable planning and estimation practices to ensure consistent delivery.
  • Manage organizational complexity by prioritizing work for a specialized team that other product streams depend on.
  • Champion continuous improvement in deployment automation, testing strategies, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Flutter or Native (Android/iOS) development with a deep focus on API design strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and managing performance.
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic mindset for managing competing priorities and maintaining long-term technical health.
  • Interest or experience in leveraging AI tools (LLMs) as force multipliers for engineering workflows.
  • Strong commitment to product quality, reliability, scalability, and security.
