Analytical Lead (Advertising Insights): Generating data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance client business performance and new investment avenues on the platform with an accent on synthesizing industry knowledge, digital marketing expertise, and advanced analytical methods. Location: Hybrid in Chicago, United States. Employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft U.S. office are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.
Salary: USD $85,100 – $169,800 per year.

What you will do
- Leverage appropriate data sources and statistical methods to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Determine and execute appropriate analytical techniques, interpreting results to address business questions.
- Craft compelling data stories using visualizations and narrative techniques to influence decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to deepen expertise and deliver results across industry verticals.
- Develop and present internal and client-facing presentations, ensuring accuracy and clarity for senior-level stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses and industry trends to identify business opportunities for .
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis.
- 2+ years of experience using tools such as PowerBI/Tableau, DAX, R, and SQL for data manipulation and visualization on large datasets.
- Solid ability to communicate complex analyses to both technical and non-technical partners and clients.
- Experience utilizing analytical tools to transform massive, dynamic datasets into actionable insights.
- Experience conducting, interpreting, and clearly communicating measurement analyses (e.g., incrementality, attribution, lift studies).
- Ability to travel 25% – 35% (air travel may be required).
Nice to have
- 4+ years of experience in statistics, mathematics, analytics, data science, engineering, or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience using tools such as PowerBI/Tableau, DAX, and SQL on large datasets.
- 4+ years in a partner, account management, client service, or client-facing role.
- Working knowledge of statistics, predictive modeling, and data clustering/classification techniques.
- Experience in digital media, data analysis, measurement, and data management.
