TL;DR

Platform Engineer (AI): Building and optimizing robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure for AI and ML workflows with an accent on designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code. Focus on enabling data scientists and ML engineers to effectively deploy their work and solve complex challenges in applied AI.

Location: Hybrid working (2 days in our Old Street office, London). Must be based in London, UK.

What you will do

• Build robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure for AI and ML workflows.
• Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders from initial idea generation through to implementation.
• Enable Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists by contributing to internal best practices, standards, and reusable code.
• Proactively identify and recommend new ways customers can leverage cloud infrastructure.
• Create and maintain reusable, company-wide libraries and infrastructure-as-code.
• Research and integrate open-source technologies to enhance hirify.global's infrastructure capabilities.

Requirements

• Pragmatic and outcome-focused approach, balancing big picture with details.
• Deep experience with both Azure and AWS.
• Experienced with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Experienced in building and deploying containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Proficient knowledge of Networking and Cloud Security.
• Excel at working directly with clients and stakeholders for requirements gathering and technical planning.
