What you will do
- Develop reliable, efficient, and maintainable code, focusing on positive user experiences.
- Contribute to technical tasks and feature development, improving system performance and query efficiency with a focus on security.
- Work with operations and senior engineering teams to evolve system architecture, design, and scalability of backend services.
- Participate in technical discussions to explore solutions and architectural approaches aligning with product and business goals.
- Uphold and contribute to software quality and security practices through code reviews and testing.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers, offering support and sharing knowledge to enhance collective team skills.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Experience and growing proficiency in Ruby are key to this role.
- Familiarity with continuous integration principles and the development lifecycle.
- Foundational understanding of, or strong interest in, high-performance, scalable, and resilient web services and applications.
- Comfortable working within an Agile/Scrum environment and with diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have
- Familiarity with, or an interest in exploring, TypeScript/React, Scala, or Go.
- Previous exposure to or interest in Identity and Access Management.
