Salary: $146,000–$204,500 (Potential to increase up to $233,500)

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve platform services and tooling to enable scalable software delivery.
• Develop and maintain backend components, APIs, and data models for platform capabilities.
• Lead system and low-level design for complex platform features and integrations.
• Improve reliability, performance, and monitoring for platform services through automation and operational excellence.
• Integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve outcomes for platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with partner engineering teams to onboard them to platform solutions and ensure reusability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language and ecosystem for backend or platform engineering.
• Experience designing, implementing, and operating backend or platform services in a multi-service production environment.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems and the ability to integrate AI/ML capabilities into engineering solutions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Java and TypeScript.
• Background with data-centric systems (pipelines, catalogs, data quality tools).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Hands-on MLOps knowledge, including model deployment, drift monitoring, and automated retraining.
• Experience with pandas, NumPy, and Plotly for high-quality analytical pipelines.
