What you will do

• Travel to assigned correctional facilities to deliver in-person audiology services.
• Conduct diagnostic hearing evaluations and assessments with Shoebox equipment.
• Fit, program, and troubleshoot hearing aids and related accessories.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per facility and HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicate findings and care plans to correctional healthcare staff as needed.
• Ensure equipment is properly transported, sterilized, and maintained.
• Follow all security protocols and guidelines set by each correctional facility.

Requirements

• Must have an active California Dispensing Audiology License (or the ability to apply for one immediately).
• Hold a Masters or Doctorate of Audiology from an accredited university.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in a clinic.
• Must be willing to travel to multiple locations.
