What you will do

• Define and implement the team's quality strategy, including testing types and thresholds.
• Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans for new features.
• Build and maintain new test automation to expand coverage and prevent regressions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality considerations throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Leverage creativity and expertise in testing tools to identify, document, and track bugs efficiently.
• Contribute to engineering guilds, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software product testing and test automation with a focus on quality engineering.
• Proficiency in test automation tools like Cypress, with hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Strong manual testing skills, capable of designing and executing thorough test cases.
• Hands-on experience using AI development tools to accelerate the QE role in novel ways.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation and Python for backend testing.
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments, virtual machines, or containers.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing, including automated a11y testing and WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
• Ability to work remotely from Continental US, Hawaii, or Canada only.
