Salary: $137,871 - $155,105 USD annually for US-based candidates; $186,306 - $209,595 CAD annually for Canada-based candidates.

What you will do

• Partner with product teams to develop theories of action and testable hypotheses for new features.
• Identify and measure initiative success through goal setting, forecasting, instrumentation, monitoring, and ongoing analysis.
• Perform exploratory analyses on datasets to extract insights about teacher and learner behavior.
• Use statistical techniques (e.g., multiple regression, causal inference, AB testing) to quantify the impact of features and interventions.
• Share analysis results effectively with non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to the development of self-service analytics tools and improve datasets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
• Proficiency with statistical techniques (multiple regression, causal inference, AB testing, hypothesis testing).
• Advanced SQL foundations and ability to manipulate data using R or Python.
• Compelling data storytelling and visualization skills (e.g., Looker).
• Strong business intuition and judgment.
• Cross-cultural competency skills are required.
