Data Scientist

TL;DR

Data Scientist: Driving product innovation, growth, and strategic decision-making across the company with an accent on experimentation, user behavior analysis, growth optimization, and AI-powered systems. Focus on product analytics, growth and attribution, recommendation systems, and applied machine learning.

Location: Hybrid (onsite from our NYC, San Francisco, or Seattle hub location three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) or fully remote. Both arrangements include travel 2–3 times per year.

What you will do

• Lead experimentation strategy and metric development to improve product performance and user outcomes.
• Design and analyze A/B tests to guide product, growth, and operational decisions.
• Build predictive, behavioral, and attribution models that inform personalization, marketing, and platform optimization.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations to identify opportunities and quantify impact.
• Develop dashboards, analytical frameworks, and scalable data tools that empower teams with self-serve insights.
• Shape how intelligent and AI-powered systems are evaluated, measured, and improved.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role within a product-focused environment.
• Strong fluency in SQL and Python.
• Deep experience with experimentation design, statistical analysis, and causal inference.
• Track record of influencing product or growth strategy through data-driven insights.
• Experience building predictive or machine learning models (bonus for production experience).
• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex findings.
