TL;DR

Senior Data Scientist (AI): Designing and overseeing product experiments and complex analyses to drive company and product strategy for content growth with an accent on video, local creators, and events. Focus on advancing data foundations, developing product roadmaps, and elevating experimentation capabilities, including exploring and applying AI.

Location: This is a hybrid remote role, requiring you to be based in the US. You are expected to participate in in-person hirify.global events and build relationships, with offices located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, New York, and London (though the role is US-based).

Salary: $175,000–$234,000 annually (base salary in San Francisco, CA area, may vary by location and proficiency).

What you will do

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, engineering, and research, to support product development efforts.
• Design and measure experiments to inform feature decisions and advance data foundation alongside Analytics Engineers.
• Develop key strategic insights through exploratory data analysis to inform future investments or strategic pivots.
• Build scalable metrics and dashboards to empower efficient decision-making across the company.
• Define and own the ways to measure success and elevate the experimentation capabilities of the Content Growth team.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of data science and product analytics experience.
• BS and/or MS in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, operations research, computer science, or economics.
• Experience in designing trustworthy experimentation and analyzing complex product A/B testing results.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and Python programming, including common scientific computing packages like numpy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify, and explain complex problems to diverse audiences, including executives.
• Innate curiosity for finding meaningful insights to inform product and business strategies.
