TL;DR

Staff Product Designer (EdTech): Driving the end-to-end design architecture for the Next-Gen Administrator platform with an accent on product and UX thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on increasing engagement and usability of the current platform, iterating on existing products, and designing new experiences within a multi-product ecosystem.

Location: Remote (Continental US + Hawaii + Canada Only)

Salary: $152,908 - $160,553 USD annually for US-based candidates; $206,626 - $216,958 CAD annually for Canada-based candidates.

What you will do

  • Form and advocate for a clear Design POV to enhance an existing user platform.
  • Create end-to-end design artifacts, including journey maps, wireframes, flows, and low-to-high fidelity mockups and prototypes.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Content, and Partnerships to iterate on existing products and design new experiences.
  • Plan and facilitate light research sessions to advance decision-making.
  • Drive the design side of projects effectively through strong project management and clear communication.
  • Contribute to and maintain design systems, proposing changes and ensuring internal consistency.

Requirements

  • At least 10+ years of relevant experience on an in-house product design team.
  • Outstanding skills in information architecture, ecosystem design, interaction design, and prototyping, with strong visual design skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguous and broad problems alongside smaller, well-defined projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for diverse partners.
  • Comfortable in dynamic, startup-like environments, interacting with Senior Leadership.
  • A bias toward action and a lean approach to product design.
  • Submission of a portfolio highlighting relevant experience is required.
