What you will do

• Design and maintain secure, high-availability payment gateway backend systems.
• Integrate with Visa, Mastercard, and other international card schemes.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and scheme mandates.
• Develop core payment gateway backend functionality.
• Build transaction processing systems covering authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and onboarding flows.
• Collaborate with QA, Frontend, business teams, and scheme representatives.

Requirements

• Strong backend development experience in POS and e-commerce payment systems.
• Hands-on experience with Visa / Mastercard / International Card Scheme integration.
• Experience with secure API & Payment Gateway Development supporting high transaction volumes.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS Compliance & Payment Security Standards (encryption, tokenization, secure key management).
• Strong C++ programming capability for backend system development.
• Ability to develop and maintain Korn Shell scripts in Linux environments.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL/Open Systems) development, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Database Management (PostgreSQL / MySQL) including schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization in transactional systems.
• Location: Singapore

Nice to have

• Familiarity with transaction switching platforms such as BASE24-eps.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience for high-severity transaction failures in live environments.
