What you will do

• Drive the technical vision and execution of complex, multi-quarter projects across multiple engineering teams.
• Lead the design and development of mission-critical trading systems, including order management and execution engines.
• Partner with PM and Design to align product strategy with long-term technical bets and roadmap.
• Mentor and coach engineers across various levels to foster growth and leadership.
• Elevate engineering quality through design reviews, code review guidance, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in traditional or crypto trading systems (order management, execution algorithms, risk management).
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across organizational boundaries and influence stakeholders.
• Strong mentoring skills and passion for building high-performing teams.
• Must be based in Singapore.
• Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Glean) to drive efficiency and quality.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in financial markets, especially equities, FX, or crypto.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and designing for compliance and auditability.
• Experience working with Go or other performant backend languages.
• Contributions to open source or trading protocols.
