What you will do

• Lead the design and development of mission-critical trading systems, including order management, execution engines, and reliability infrastructure.
• Drive the technical vision and execution of complex, multi-quarter projects across multiple engineering teams.
• Partner with PM and Design to align product strategy with long-term technical bets and roadmap.
• Mentor and coach engineers across various levels to develop the next generation of trading and infrastructure leaders.
• Elevate engineering quality and promote best practices through design reviews and process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Singapore.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in trading systems (traditional or crypto), specifically in order management, execution algorithms, market data, or risk management.
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across organizational boundaries and influence stakeholders.
• Strong mentoring skills and a product-driven approach to technical decision-making.
• Ability to responsibly integrate generative AI tools into daily workflows to drive efficiency and quality.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in financial markets, specifically equities, FX, or crypto.
• Familiarity with designing for compliance and auditability in regulated environments.
• Experience working with Go or other performant backend languages.
• Contributions to open source projects or trading protocols.
