Location: This is an in-person internship requiring candidates to work from Niantic’s San Francisco HQ in the San Francisco Ferry Building, United States.

Salary: $49–$54 USD per hour.

• Design and implement new features and improvements for real-world AR games and developer platforms.
• Develop well-tuned code for upcoming software releases.
• Work closely with new and emerging technologies in the real-world AR gaming space.

Requirements

• Must be graduating in 2026 or 2027 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous internship experience as a software engineer is required.
• Excellent coding, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Proven understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language.
• Resume/CV must be written in English.
