What you will do

• Lead design and implementation of scalable, reliable, high-performance backend services.
• Architect AWS-based solutions and optimize cloud services.
• Develop high-quality, production-ready backend code using Java or Python.
• Make key technical decisions regarding databases, data models, and storage strategies.
• Collaborate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Own deployed backend systems, focusing on monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Senior or Lead-level engineer.
• Advanced hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering.
• Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and cloud-native development.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for backend development.
• Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust backend architectures.
• Experience with automated testing for backend code.

Nice to have

• DevOps experience, including infrastructure-as-code and observability.
• Experience with high-scale data systems, event-driven architectures, or microservices.
