What you will do

• Lead and line manage a team of software engineers, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.
• Guide the design, development, delivery, and support of scalable search and navigation solutions for millions of users.
• Partner with Product, UX, Delivery, and Data colleagues to shape roadmaps and prioritize effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across Web, TV, Mobile, and platform services for coherent cross-platform experiences.
• Contribute to technical strategy and decision-making within Web Experiences.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within large-scale, modern web architectures.
• Proven experience line managing and developing software engineers, supporting career progression.
• Strong expertise in modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and SPA frameworks (React).
• Demonstrable experience working in cross-functional environments with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering peers.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working on search, navigation, or discovery-related systems.
• Experience operating in highly measurable environments using experimentation and data.
• Experience collaborating across multiple platforms (e.g., web, TV, mobile).
