What you will do

• Lead the design and development of critical payment systems for sensitive transactions.
• Partner with global payment gateways and providers to integrate new workflows and payment methods.
• Define the long-term roadmap for payment infrastructure, staying ahead of industry trends.
• Solve complex distributed systems challenges across multiple teams.
• Act as a force multiplier by mentoring senior and junior engineers.
• Own the "Definition of Done" for the team, ensuring high standards for code quality, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one major language (Go, Python, or Java).
• Deep experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Highly proficient in AWS and hands-on experience managing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Elite grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Ability to translate high-level business goals into technical requirements and explain architectural trade-offs.
