What you will do

• Support the new industry-leading International Payments Platform (IPP) within the International & CHAPS Lab.
• Work on key application Integrations and Deployment for the Global Payments Plus (GPP) product to deliver revenue streams and mandatory compliance.
• Contribute to bespoke solution configuration and rules-based engineering within a Payments production environment.
• Spend a smaller percentage of your time on hands-on coding, focusing on broader engineering needs.

Requirements

• Previous knowledge of integrating, introducing, and supporting 3rd Party packages.
• Adept solution designer and problem solver.
• Technical proficiency with Linux applications, Java, Python, and Unix Shell scripting.
• Experience with Oracle DB.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Code Management tools like GIT, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of tools such as SQL Developer, UCD, MQ, Kafka, TWS, Tivoli, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• All-around knowledge of the software development lifecycle, ideally within a modern Agile engineering function.
• English: B2 required

Nice to have

• Previous experience of working with technical components of Finastra GPP product.
• Knowledge of Node.js, Elastic search, and Websphere based applications.
• Basic knowledge of Bash or Python for scripting or automation.
• Understanding of cloud environments such as OCP, GCP, Azure, AWS, as well as Private Cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools for observability to diagnose issues and ensure system performance.
