Frontend Software Engineer (React)

TL;DR

Frontend Software Engineer (React): Building and optimizing user interfaces for a global travel and tourism company with an accent on MicroFrontends, React, and Node. Focus on architectural design, software development, testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration across various cloud platforms.

Location: Must be based in Ukraine (Hybrid work options available)

What you will do

• Participate in the full SDLC, including requirement analysis, sprint planning, software design, and deployment.
• Write Architectural Decision Records (ADR) for UI work.
• Develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Apply and suggest best practices and design patterns in software development.
• Work with MicroFrontends, GraphQL, and microservice integration.
• Identify performance issues and contribute to monitoring and alerting.

Requirements

• Strong experience with MicroFrontends.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, React, Node, SCSS, Eleventy, and NJK.
• Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, UI, and UX design principles.
• Good experience in understanding, refactoring, writing, and using CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with GraphQL and microservice integration.
• Good experience with cloud platform services, including AWS, as both a producer and a consumer.
• Experience with API Gateway and Security.

Nice to have

• Experience in building auto-scaling and self-healing components.
• Experience in the implementation of the Testing Pyramid and Automation Systems.
• Integration with Microservices through BFF or Facade.
