What you will do

• Suggest and implement technical solutions and tools for Unreal Engine projects.
• Develop and maintain efficient production pipelines for 3D animation and VFX.
• Tackle complex technical challenges in Unreal Engine, including optimization, shader development, and custom tool creation.
• Provide hands-on support to the team by addressing technical issues and finding creative solutions.
• Research and implement cutting-edge tools, techniques, and workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Director or similar role in the animation, VFX, or gaming industry.
• Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine, including Blueprints, C++, and performance optimization.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, MEL) for tool development and pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of shaders, particles, and post-processing.
• Familiarity with topology and optimization of 3D assets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• English: B2 required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with artists.
• Familiarity with version control systems.

Nice to have

• Houdini experience.
