Fullstack Engineer (Igaming)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Igaming): Design, build, and release player-facing features across web and mobile platforms with an accent on end-to-end development from concept to production. Focus on scalable backend services in PHP, frontend in JavaScript, and optimizing performance for high-concurrency social casino experiences.

Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week from the Wave Office in Gdansk or Unity Office in Krakow, Poland. Must be authorized to work in Poland without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end feature development for social and gameplay systems across web, iOS, and Android.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services in PHP for gameplay, social features, and Live Ops.
• Implement frontend functionality in JavaScript and handle data modeling for player progression and events.
• Profile and optimize frontend/backend performance for smooth player experience under high load.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to scope solutions and iterate based on metrics.
• Improve architecture, tooling, and delivery practices in a live production environment.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent; 4+ years professional software development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript in production environments across web, iOS, Android.
• Backend development experience in production, designing/consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of client-server architecture and full development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; authorized to work in Poland without sponsorship.
