Senior Software Architect

TL;DR

Senior Software Architect: Designing and implementing technical solutions for business needs and stakeholders, including external clients with an accent on assessing new technologies and developing scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions. Focus on leading technical projects, providing guidance to project teams, and leading development teams.

Location: Must be based in Thousand Oaks & DTLA (In-office 4 days/week)

Salary: $150-200k USD/ year

What you will do

• Work with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain a holistic view of the organization's technology architecture.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions are designed and delivered according to architectural standards.
• Evaluate new and emerging technologies and assess their potential impact.
• Lead the development of proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the feasibility of new technologies.
• Work closely with external clients to understand their needs and lead demos to showcase solutions.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication and cross-organizational skills.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with designing complex cloud architectures.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Proficient in creating detailed architectural diagrams and documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working with high-traffic, large-scale applications and distributed systems.
