What you will do
- Raise the creative bar for brand output while maintaining speed.
- Guide creative direction and evolve the brand through hands-on design and prototyping.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Content, Events, and Leadership teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for external design agencies and freelancers.
- Lead creative direction for flagship events like App Growth Annual.
- Build just enough brand structure to make great work repeatable, preserving experimentation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in brand or visual design, with experience leading creative work for campaigns, launches, or events.
- Hands-on design experience, comfortable executing work, not just reviewing or delegating.
- Ability to take projects from brief to concept to execution with minimal oversight.
- Strong taste and a clear point of view, able to articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience designing for the web and understanding web design best practices (layout systems, responsiveness, accessibility, performance).
- Working understanding of motion design and animation.
- AI-first approach and active use of modern tools for ideation, iteration, and production.
- Experience working with and managing external agencies or freelancers.
- Comfortable balancing execution with light leadership responsibilities (creative direction, feedback, prioritization).
- Ability to work independently, own initiatives end-to-end, and proactively push projects forward.

- Portfolio case studies that show your process, alternatives, constraints, and how you arrived at final decisions.
- Experience designing and shipping complex landing pages or digital experiences end-to-end.
