What you will do

• Engage actively with the hirify.global open-source community, providing technical guidance and fostering interaction.
• Create comprehensive technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, and video series.
• Deliver impactful technical presentations at industry conferences, webinars, and community events.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
• Develop and maintain practical example projects, sample code, and developer resources.
• Champion developer experience by advocating for user needs within the engineering team and partnering with marketing.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Developer Advocate in metadata or open-source ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with hirify.global and technical expertise in data engineering and metadata management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex technical concepts.
• Proven experience creating technical content (blog posts, video tutorials, documentation).
• Comfortable speaking at events, leading workshops, participating in podcasts, or hosting livestreams/webinars.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects and engaging with technical communities.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data ecosystems (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark, dbt, Airflow).
