What you will do

• Embed with engineering teams to build self-sufficiency in instrumenting code with logs, metrics, and traces, while defining critical SLOs/SLIs.
• Guide teams in designing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Octopus Deploy, emphasizing progressive delivery strategies.
• Teach teams to integrate security scanning (SAST, DAST, SCA) into their pipelines and implement secure secrets management.
• Develop reusable templates, documentation, and "golden path" examples for pipelines and dashboards.
• Measure and track team progress using DORA metrics to demonstrate measurable improvements in engineering maturity.
• Partner with the Subsystems Platform Team to translate common engineering needs into permanent, self-service platform capabilities.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles with a strong background in both development and operations.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Octopus Deploy, Terraform, and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong experience with application observability tools (New Relic, Datadog), OpenTelemetry, and application security practices including OWASP Top 10.
• A consultative approach with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to coach and influence engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of reliability engineering concepts, including branching strategies, automated testing, and vulnerability remediation workflows.
• English: B2 required

Nice to have

• Desired knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Familiarity with GitOps practices.
• Understanding of FinTech compliance requirements like SOC 2 or PCI DSS.
