What you will do

• Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases, collaborating with others for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics in the product development lifecycle, articulating technical constraints and partnering on decisions.
• Support the operations and availability of the team’s artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics and supporting on-call efforts.
• Contribute to a sense of community by engaging in growth and development activities such as participating in the interview process.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.
• Ability to translate simple problems or business scenarios into solutions interacting with multiple software components, executing with clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
• Comfortable navigating a large codebase, debugging others' code, and providing feedback through code reviews.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to support effective collaboration with a global engineering team.
• Must be eligible to work remotely from Canada.
