TL;DR
Service Desk Analyst: Providing essential technical support focused on the health, performance, and recoverability of core infrastructure for clients’ enterprise environments with an accent on virtualization, enterprise storage, and data protection systems. Focus on triage of hardware and software alerts, data protection and recovery management, and ticket management.

What you will do
- Triage hardware and software alerts and perform initial root-cause analysis.
- Perform basic virtual machine (VM) administration in VMware.
- Conduct regular audits of backup logs to ensure successful completion and data integrity.
- Monitor replication health, proactively identifying and resolving connectivity issues.
- Maintain meticulous technical documentation in the ITSM platform.
- Coordinate with the Service Coordinator to manage the flow of technical requests.
Requirements
- Understanding of virtualized compute and storage (VMware ESXi/vCenter experience is a major plus).
- Ability to distinguish “noise” from a critical failure in monitoring graphs or log files.
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Associate’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.
Nice to have
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
