What you will do

• Own the end-to-end production workflow for all animation projects, managing timelines and coordinating capacity planning across external partners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external animation partners, conducting regular check-ins and facilitating feedback cycles.
• Lead projects from conception to completion, working with creative and business teams to ensure clarity, documentation, and on-time/within-budget delivery.
• Foster collaboration, facilitate team meetings, and act as a mediator to resolve conflicts within the project team.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including CEO, CMO, and Executive Creative Director.
• Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, leading problem-solving and decision-making processes collaboratively.

Requirements

• 5+ years in animation production coordination or project management, preferably in an agency or studio environment.
• Proven experience managing external creative partners, particularly animation studios.
• Strong understanding of animation production workflows including script development, animatic creation, set design, animation, and post-production.
• Project management expertise with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with varying timelines.
• Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Jira, or Basecamp).
• Budget management experience including tracking production costs, managing purchase orders, and financial forecasting.
• Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities, with outstanding communication skills to translate creative vision into production requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with comedy animation or character-driven content.
• Familiarity with IP agreements and creative rights management in animation production.
• Background working with UK animation studios.
• Knowledge of asset management systems and content distribution workflows.
