Flying Wild Hog is a game development studio known for creating intense and immersive action experiences. From Hard Reset to Shadow Warrior and Evil West, the studio focuses on delivering heart-pounding gameplay and high-quality production values.
We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Animator to create high-quality 3D animations that directly support gameplay mechanics. You will work closely with the Gameplay Animation Lead, programmers, designers, and production to ensure animations are responsive, immersive, and aligned with the project vision.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Create 3D animations for humans, animals, monsters, and props
• Deliver high-quality hand-keyed and motion capture animations
• Collaborate with the Gameplay Animation Lead to maintain consistent style
• Work closely with programmers and designers to support gameplay mechanics
• Coordinate with production to meet quality standards and deadlines
📚 Required Skills
• At least 5 years of documented experience as a gameplay animator
• Very good knowledge of MotionBuilder
• Strong skills in animating the human figure with realistic results
• Experience working with motion capture data
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with designers and programmers
• Solid understanding of keyframe animation principles
• Understanding of game design principles and how animation supports gameplay
• Comfortable working in a game engine editor, Unreal Engine knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in English
👍 Nice to Have
• Good knowledge of Maya
• Experience animating realistic creatures
• Experience working on a third-person perspective action game
