3D Animator (Game Development)

TL;DR

Location: Fully remote contract position, not available to California residents. Candidates must be located in the US to be eligible for full-time employment benefits.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year ($29/hr–$34/hr)

What you will do

• Build, establish, and improve existing structures for a high-end 3D animation team.
• Animate a variety of characters, creatures, props, and vehicles.
• Develop and maintain pipeline tools in Unreal Engine, Maya, 3DS Max, and Motion Builder.
• Work closely with the Animation Director and Project Manager.

Requirements

• Must submit a strong portfolio/demo reel with recent 3D animation work for video games.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Animator in the video game industry.
• Proficient with Maya and Unreal Engine 5 Cinematics (Sequencer).
• Experience working with motion capture cleanup.
• Experience working with realistic art styles focused on bipedal human animations for games.

Nice to have

• MotionBuilder experience.
• Experience working with Unreal Engine 5 Integration, hand-keyed animations, or proprietary tools.
• Experience in tangential areas of animation, such as rigging, skinning, or scripting.
