What you will do

• Monitor daily financial crime reports, identifying data quality issues and unusual trends.
• Build and maintain MI for first-line controls and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Utilize SQL and Python to proactively identify emerging AML trends and suggest control enhancements.
• Forecast volume spikes using historical data and predictive analytics to ensure operational readiness.
• Drive changes in reporting and monitoring processes through data, ensuring agility and policy alignment.
• Act as a central point of contact for Senior Management, translating data into risk-based proposals.

Requirements

• Essential knowledge of Financial Crime and AML principles and regulatory landscape.
• Proven ability to scrutinise operational data and detect subtle irregularities.
• Highly comfortable using SQL to interrogate databases and Python for deeper analysis.
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining accurate and reliable reports.
