TL;DR

Service Manager (Private Cloud): Delivering service excellence and shaping the direction of the Private Cloud team for hirify.global, which is building the next generation technical platform at the core of the UK's biggest financial service transformations with an accent on platform oversight, governance of supplier activity, and ensuring safe, secure services. Focus on data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive service excellence.

Location: Must spend at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Halifax or Leeds office in the UK.

Salary: £67,023 – £74,470

What you will do

  • Lead opportunities and enhancements within existing partner commercial arrangements, and develop new contracts in conjunction with Global Sourcing & Supplier Management.
  • Manage important client relationships and coordinate relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers.
  • Identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems, and procedures, then deliver a plan for a small element of a change management programme with support.
  • Develop and/or deliver budget plans for own area with guidance from senior colleagues.

Requirements

  • Proven Service Management experience with supplier/partner relationships.
  • Confidence to connect with and influence internal customers and external partners at all levels within the organisation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced IT organisation and resilience when faced with conflicting priorities.
  • Boldness to challenge the status quo in order to guarantee the best possible customer outcomes.
  • Confidence in leading and controlling large meetings.
  • Ability to lead and progress a workload independently, with a precise attention to detail.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Cloud Platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, insight, and presentation.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud@Customer / Oracle Database@Azure, CaaS, IaaS, AVS (Azure VWware Solution).
  • Familiarity with Power BI & Power Automate.
  • ITIL experience/qualifications.
