What you will do

• Act as the technical owner for the design, development, and deployment of ML/AI-driven features within Notebooks.
• Shape the long-term technical direction and strategy for AI workflows across Notebooks and related products.
• Lead the full development cycle, from rapid prototyping and defining success metrics to running experiments and achieving production-ready scale.
• Drive product direction with a strong user focus, ensuring an excellent end-user experience.
• Develop robust agent systems, including tools, retrieval and planning strategies, guardrails, prompt management, and human-in-the-loop processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and guide the adoption of new AI technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, with a proven track record as a technical lead.
• Significant experience leading large-scale AI/ML initiatives in a product-driven environment.
• Extensive experience in model deployment, development, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• Passion for mentoring others and fostering a high-performing engineering culture.
