What you will do

• Spearhead AI initiatives and act as technical owner for ML/AI feature design, development, and deployment within Notebooks.
• Shape the long-term technical direction and strategy for AI workflows in Notebooks.
• Drive the full development cycle, from rapid prototyping and defining success metrics to running experiments and achieving production scale.
• Drive product direction with a strong user focus and coordinate with other product teams.
• Develop robust agent systems including tools, retrieval/planning strategies, guardrails, and prompt management.
• Stay updated with industry trends and guide the adoption of new technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, with technical leadership background.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale AI/ML initiatives in a product-driven environment.
• Significant experience in model deployment, development, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• Passion for mentoring and cultivating a high-performing engineering culture.
• Excitement about leveraging AI tools for coding, problem-solving, and building.
