What you will do

• Develop and enhance enterprise applications integral to the automation of supply chain processes.
• Be part of an agile team owning a core system driving accurate forecasting, efficient replenishment, and seamless logistics.
• Contribute across the entire development lifecycle—from requirements analysis to operations—ensuring high quality and performance.
• Work end-to-end on applications, gaining deep insights into architecture and functionality.
• Collaborate closely with platform teams and leverage modern tools and technologies to deliver scalable solutions.
• Actively engage in team discussions, challenge the status quo, and drive technical excellence within the developer community.

Requirements

• Initial experience or a solid understanding of backend development using Kotlin, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with or learning frontend technologies like Vue, React, or comparable frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Understanding of web communication (e.g., HTTP, REST) and messaging systems.
• Capability of writing automated tests and a basic understanding of modern software architecture.
• Care about writing secure and maintainable code, with familiarity in concepts like Clean Code or design patterns.
• English: Proficient required and open to learning German if not already familiar.
• Degree in IT with a focus on application development or an IT apprenticeship with relevant qualifications.
