Graduate Software Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Graduate Software Engineer (React/Node.js/Java/AI): Building and optimizing new features in the UI and backend for a rapidly scaling product with an accent on UI/backend development, data utilization, and CI/CD pipelines. Focus on developing quality code, deploying to production, and analyzing user behavior impact through experimentation.

Location: Able to commute to our hirify.global office in Amsterdam or Berlin. No relocation assistance is provided; candidates must manage their own relocation and associated costs if applying from outside these cities.

What you will do

• Work in a product development team building new features/improvements in the UI with React, Node.js, and Java/Kotlin.
• Deliver quality code by writing automated tests and learn about CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy code to production and add monitoring and observability.
• Learn the impact of new features on user behavior via experimentation and analytics.
• Work with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers.
• Potentially collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other partners to design, develop, and deploy data solutions.

Requirements

• Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computing Science, with graduation less than 12 months ago.
• Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
• Experience coding in an industry-standard language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript).
• AI-First Proficiency, integrating AI into development flow beyond simple chat prompts.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Available to start a full-time position from August 2026.
• Be able to commute to our hirify.global office in Amsterdam or Berlin.
