Unity Engineer

TL;DR

Unity Engineer: Developing interactive VR and WebGL experiences for an educational platform with an accent on real-time scientific concepts and gamified learning. Focus on performance optimization, data integration with backend systems, and creating engaging exercise modules.

Location: Hybrid work in Serbia (2 days in-office, 3 days remote) or fully remote from locations without Constructor offices (within CET/EET time zones).

What you will do

• Develop VR and WebGL builds using Unity for interactive educational experiences.
• Collaborate with the backend team on data integration, API connections, and synchronization.
• Integrate scientific exercises into gamified learning modules.
• Contribute to performance optimization, debugging (Profiler, Sentry), and build processes.
• Work within a GitLab version control environment following branch workflows.
• Support UI/UX improvements, error management, and QA coordination.

Requirements

• Resume in English only.
• Strong knowledge of Unity 3D and C#.
• Experience developing for WebGL and VR platforms.
• Solid understanding of OOP, ScriptableObject, and Scene Management.
• Proficiency in Git version control systems (Gitlab).
• Basic understanding of backend connectivity (API integration, JSON parsing, async data flow).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of shaders or visual effects.
• Experience in educational technology, simulation, or science-based projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
