What you will do
- Conduct thorough Transaction Monitoring/Fraud and Quality reviews, ensuring strict adherence to current laws and internal regulations.
- Resolve complex cases and edge situations, providing customized solutions that meet high compliance standards.
- Onboard and train new team members on Transaction Monitoring/Fraud procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying training gaps, creating individual development plans, and delivering targeted training sessions.
- Manage daily workflows, ensuring tasks align with team goals, and SLAs and quality are maintained.
- Collaborate across departments (Product, Engineering, Risk) on projects to streamline and optimize Transaction Monitoring processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Fraud/Transaction Monitoring/AML/Financial Security, preferably with 2+ years as a team supervisor/senior.
- Strong understanding of the AML/CFT regulatory framework and a “protect mindset” is essential.
- Excellent coaching skills, with a proven track record of enhancing team productivity and cohesiveness.
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with modern compliance tools and CRMs (e.g., Zendesk, Forest, Next Matter).
- Excellent communication skills in English and fluent in German, Dutch, French, or Spanish.
