TL;DR

Technical Services Engineer (Web3): Providing first-class service and support for financial institution customers using hirify.global’s critical software, with an accent on fixing, replicating, and resolving technical issues at product, data, or network levels. Focus on analyzing challenging technical problems, identifying root causes, and coordinating with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution and reduce service interruption risks.

Location: Must be based in California (US), with required in-office collaboration 10+ days a month.

Salary: $100,000—$120,000 USD

What you will do

  • Enhance and adhere to operational procedures and policies for critical production support on a peer-to-peer payments network.
  • Demonstrate, reproduce, debug, and resolve technical issues across customer technology stacks.
  • Design and build tools and scripts to analyze product, database, and network log files to identify issue causes.
  • Work with engineering and product teams to fix issues, release patches, and install them in customer environments.
  • Coach and guide customers in implementing best practice policies for smooth running of hirify.global technology.
  • Participate in out-of-hours customer production support when required.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience implementing or supporting transaction processing systems for cash management, payments, or trade finance products.
  • Deep technical and functional understanding of payment flows and cross-border payment processing.
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure including Databases, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxy Servers, Application, and Web Servers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate knowledge of enterprise hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and collaboration skills to partner with internal teams and external customers.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid format in California (US) with in-office presence 10+ days a month.

Nice to have

  • Experience of Production Support Leadership.
  • Hands-on coding experience in web-based technologies, Linux, Javascript, Ruby, or Python.
  • Experience with peer-to-peer networks and real-time technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Linux system administration with an emphasis on networking (TCP/IP) and security.
  • Experience with Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Splunk, and other monitoring/defect management tools.
