What you will do

• Support experienced Data Scientists in developing, training, and evaluating machine learning models for dynamic pricing and price elasticity.
• Conduct exploratory data analyses to derive insights for optimized price steering.
• Work closely with a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, and analysts.
• Gain hands-on experience with modern cloud stack technologies like Azure, Databricks, and Google Cloud.
• Take responsibility for specific sub-tasks, such as feature engineering or performance monitoring for pricing business cases.

Requirements

• Currently studying AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or a quantitative subject (e.g., Economics/Mathematics) with a focus on data.
• Gained initial experience with data science projects (e.g., internships, university projects, or a thesis).
• Have a basic understanding of ML methods and an interest in applying them to market dynamics and price optimization.
• Are passionate about solving complex problems, possess basic Python skills, and are highly motivated to learn new technologies.
• Communicate confidently in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of forecasting.
• Knowledge of German.
